"Do all the good you can, By all the means you can , In all the ways you can, In every place you can, At all the times you can, To all the people you can, As long as ever you can ."
That is the highlight of my cleanse. You are you and you have the power to change the world by simply sparking change within yourself first on a conscious level and then deeper on a subconcious level.
I can't say that the cleanse dramatically changed my life but I can say that change has occurred. Change on biological level with the vacation I had given to my organs and systems; Change on outer physical level with my skin glowing and my body feeling rejuvinated and change on Mental level with heightened clarity and observation to respond, not react , calmly.
I am so thankful to my friends and family that supported me through the process and became a part of the process, that is what makes the cleanse life changing. You very quickly become aware of how and where you need to clean house on a social, mental, physical and emotional level. I now act with discretion as I interact with people , with myself, and with my surroundings. If something doesn't feel right or taste right or sound right then i have the choice of NOT allowing it inside me.
The last day of the cleanse was spent in another yoga warrior workshop . I had this bright idea that it would be empowering, instead it was exhausting , but nonetheless a learning experience. I dedicated the practice to change. I decided to break my cleanse that night and celebrate with Raw Food at Cafe Gratitude. Its funny how eating raw food or a salad becomes comparable to eating a big fat slice of pizza ! Well for me it was. I enjoyed every bite of my guacemole and flax chips and not to mention Chocolate Mousse ! I ate slow and chewed a lot and felt great. Later on i took a sip of a cocktail and was disgusting. Being the imaginative person I am , I could visualize TOXINS ! haha... probably a slight exaggeration but for me it was an intense reaction. So no cocktail for me.
Its now two days after and I'm still sticking to raw food and soups and still taking my wheatgrass. I would like to hold on to this "alive" feeling as long as possible and move forward with awarenes. Respecting myself , the food I eat and the life I live .
Until next time ...
.... the journey continues
