Yesterday wasn't soo bad to get through I had a salad for lunch and then my second day of wheatgrass which was a little better than the first day, perhaps because I had a OJ, Mango, Strawberry smoothie afterwards .
Dinner was again a huge salad filled with everything raw I could think of :
Mixed greens
tomatoes
cucumber
green bell pepper
avocado
walnuts
garlic
onions
mushrooms
and a bit of olive oil and vinegar and pepper . It was delish !
What I have noticed is my lack of sleep this week and thinking about Ayurvedically the salads and light foods are probably aggravating my Vata (air quality) . My mind is all over the place... Talk about monkey mind times 100 ! It takes a little more time to focus and settle down. This is all a part of the process though, during the monkey mind things arise and cleansing occurs. Once again this is not just a physical cleanse, but an emotional and mental cleanse as well.
This morning I did start with a fabulous smoothie filled with
mangos
strawberries
black berries
almonds
and soy milk
YUM!
