It's all Qi!!!

We enter into the final pose of our practice- Savasana. I enter, I sigh and I experience … for the first time I feel the effects of my practice in this way. The physical dance that I was involved in for the last 90 minutes continues in my stillness. Vibrations and sensations flow through me like a rippling and roaring river. I imagine all the neurons firing off and bumping into one another and getting sent in all sorts of directions. The sensations travel from head to foot, front to back and for once there are no thoughts, no feelings, no emotions … simply observation… I feel connected. Since my acupuncture experience 2 days ago I have been walking around feeling a bit lucid and not quite “there” but at the same time enjoying every minute of it the experience. Drifting between the conscious and unconscious I find myself floating in mid air and then lying on a table. It was an intense session, I didn’t know organs could be lifted and moved but then I thought back to my qi gong exercise where we imagined our hand energetically entering another body… whoa… it makes sense. I feel superficial pain from the intense body work and needles but underneath it all there is a shift occurring, I can feel it and it is fascinating. Finally it is making sense to me, the qi, the prana, the energy, the nutrition, the crossfit, the yoga, the mind, the body, the breath, the universe … Theoretically I have always believed in oneness and the connection between all life forms and perhaps that is what set me on my adventure in the first place. In two days I have had needles in me, visualized my bones washing and glowing, got sore hammies from runs and deadlifts, found yoga in latin dance and experienced complete surrender in Savasana. In the end its all Qi! The energetic connection between mind and body.
