Week 2 of bike shopping took me over to a store that featured Treks and a few Orbeas. I wasn't to excited with the experience. Its funny how service and store management can change a bike opinion. In my case this was true. They were slow and I am impatient, not a good combo. After finally getting me set up on bike #1 I went out for a 20 minute spin and came back thinking it was OKAY but love definitely did not happen, the Orbea Onix immediately got bumped off the list. Bike #2 was quickly set up and I was off. Now I had ridden the Trek Madone in the beginning of my cycling career and hadn't since. When I rode it then the bike was in control... now i was in control. Overall I wasn't in love. I was rather bored...
