The silence has ended but the practice continues. I can't say I am on a roll just yet since its been about 24 hours since my last meditation at the Dhamma Center, BUT every little step counts. I set my alarm this morning for 4:15am and after a few snooze sessions I finally got up at 5 am (yes, it was a lot of snoozing). The center must have something special in the air since it seems so much easier to simply get up when I am there. Nonetheless I was up and on my zafu at 5:15 am. I tried to focus on my breath and noticed that it was out of control. Judging by my current breath state one would think I haven't meditated a day in my life let alone have just done 3 days in silence. I stuck with it and eventually the breath calmed and I was meditating. An hour passed, my eyes opened and on with my day. Day 2 of 21 days - DONE!
