life is an experience... changing with each moment... if we get caught up... we miss out on the experience... we lose the present and live in the past; always dreaming of the future ... hence disconnected with ourselves.. the root of all suffering... welcome to my journey ... my playful life
A short and sweet 62 miles until the end. Why is it that every mile seemed longer than ever today. The anxiety and excitement of the finish line kept me moving. A few last climbs, the final lunch line and porta potty break and finally dessert with the Veteran ALCers at the Chart House. The veterans/ride leaders have made this a memorable first ride. We rode in together for the last mile and watched the crowds cheer us on. I couldn’t stop smiling. I finally did it, 10 years in the making, but I did it. It was an experience beyond what I imagined. New friends, teamwork, and fun times all the while supporting an amazing cause… a cure. Until next year….
