Novice Cyclist Series: ALC Day 2

It was a long day, 106.5 miles and the LONG start out of Santa Cruz only made it longer. Did I mention it was LONG?! The nice thing about the cluster of people trying to ride out was it made for plenty of time to do some meet and greets with my fellow riders. Everyone is so unique and interesting. I am surrounded by a worldwind of stories and experiences. From a brief conversation with one women she asked me where I was from and I said bay area, Ca she then tells me that she could hear a bit of midwest, la, bay area, and Indian in my accent. WTF?! Let's see... I was born in Chicago, lived in LA and the Bay and Im ethnically Indian. Interesting people!

The long ride was broken apart by some breathtaking views, fun friends, and some yummy homemade cookies at rest stop 4! Love rest stop 4 already.
